Do I need a referral to see any of our therapists?

No, you do not need a referral from a Medical Doctor to see one of our registered therapists.

Are your services covered by health insurance/extended benefits?

Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates (this does not include fitness pilates), are commonly included in extended health plans. It is recommended to review your benefits package with your insurance provider as coverage varies between providers. The Medical Service Plan of BC (MSP) does provide some coverage for those who qualify for Premium Assistance. More information can be found here.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring:

Suitable attire that will be easy to move around in (ie. shorts for assessment of a lower body area, and a t-shirt or tank top for assessment of an upper body area)

Third Party Insurance information – ICBC, Extended health care benefits, etc.

Referral notes from your doctor or other healthcare practitioners

Any diagnostic testing (ie. x-ray, MRI, CT Scan) results relevant to your area of assessment

Please arrive promptly at your scheduled appointment. Arriving 5-10 minutes early for your first session will give you time to fill out our intake forms or save time by filling them out online in advance.

If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our best with the remaining time left in the appointment.

Do you offer direct billing to extended health plans?

We offer direct billing for Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture to the following insurance providers:

A credit card on file is required to access our direct billing service.

Please bring your insurance information to your first appointment to set up your claim.

If you have an insurer who is not listed above, we will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement.

Do you accept ICBC claims?

We currently only accept ICBC claims as follows:

Brentwood: Acupuncture, Chiropractic care and Active Rehab (Kinesiology)

Downtown: Chiropractic care

We do not currently offer any other service for ICBC at this time.

Do you accept WorkSafe BC (WSBC) claims?

We do not currently accept WSBC claimants.

Where are you located?

We have 3 locations:

Brentwood: We are located on the 3rd Floor of the Amazing Brentwood within Evolve Strength.

Downtown: We are located on the 4th Floor of the POST within Evolve Strength. Enter through Homer St. where City Market is located.

Gilmore: We are on the ground level, first door on the right as you enter.

Is there parking available?

Brentwood: Complimentary 3 hours surface parking is available for registered vehicle license plates, when registered at any of the nearby pay stations or click here for the website on the day you arrive.

Downtown: No complimentary parking is available. Parking within the Post building is $6/1hr, but street parking directly around the building is priced at $3/1hr.

Gilmore: There is complimentary 1 hour parking on a offsite parking lot; click here to register your car and to find directions to this lot. Alternatively parking within the complex is $4.23/hr + fees and can be done when you arrive via signed QR codes.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We reserve our time specifically for you and strive to adhere to your scheduled appointment time. When you miss an appointment, often times another client may have benefitted from attending. If you cannot provide 24 hours notice before cancellation or you miss your appointment, you will be responsible for the full price of your appointment.
